Fitness is a buzzword, a concern that for many has become a way of life. Some of us spend hours in the gym, eating health food, struggling through diets and combating past habits. Many of us relate to our bodies as vehicles for looking good, or a set of problems to be managed. Yet, when we consider our bodies as an outward expression of our selves, we are able to shape physical reality consistent with the possibility of who we are. There is available a sense of energy and vitality that comes with living at one with who we are. This seminar will explore a dimension beyond our habitual notions of fitness - level of both stamina and ease where stress is no longer an issue, where pressure is handled gracefully, and where our bodies serve as a full expression of continuing health and well-being. This is not a health, nutrition, or weight loss seminar, but a seminar whose outcome lives in the arena of possibility and breakthrough. You will distinguish your pictures, justifications, and complaints about fitness from the real possibility of being fit for life. You will design an environment that allows for the fulfillment of your intentions and will renew your own ability to generate wholeness in your work, play, relationships, and all aspects of life. Program Logistics This seminar occurs in 10 evening sessions, usually during a three-month period. Each session is approximately 3 hours. Prerequisite: completion of two other seminar series OR completion of the Self-Expression and Leadership Program and one other seminar series.
