Web Community & E-Commerce Manager

Job Description:

The qualified candidate would be accountable for managing Landmark's e-commerce and community presence for the United States and internationally, including managing vendors, community moderators, and administrative staff. The Community &
E-commerce manager will be responsible for realizing revenue and participation objectives. Community & E-commerce manager's accountabilities will also include overseeing business activities, community features, and interdepartmental interfaces. He or she will proactively research and develop potential e-commerce revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Managing Landmark's e-commerce and community presence for the United States and internationally
Managing vendors, community moderators, and administrative staff.
Realizing revenue and participation objectives
Overseeing business activities, community features, and interdepartmental interfaces
Researching and developing potential online revenue and participation opportunities.
Directing the focus of the online community to extend the core messages of Landmark
Managing updates for e-commerce and community areas.
Presenting a consistent and positive image of our company and acting as Landmark's official spokesperson to the online community
Analyzing, understanding, and prioritizing the needs of Landmark in its interface with the online community
Enrolling, training, and managing moderators globally for program and topic-specific discussion groups
Upholding editorial, design, and production guidelines
Interfacing with key departments, business development, media, marketing, customer service, information technology, centers, etc.
Generating membership growth and satisfaction, community membership management, and user support
Tracking, analyzing, and reporting trends, patterns, and stats
Expanding management duties as online business models and opportunities increase

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate has a bachelor's degree, or equivalent 3-5 years of related experience. The individual must have excellent management and communication skills and must be attentive to details. The candidate should possess an understanding of basic HTML, have online community management experience, writing skills, and research abilities. The candidate must be organized, creative, flexible, and a team player. The ideal candidate would have experience managing creative projects. Familiarity with databases and database tools (e.g. iSQL) is a plus.
