Living in a Bigger World

I had been diagnosed with a life threatening disease. Like anybody who would get this kind of diagnosis, I was scared. I made life, God, and everybody I knew wrong. I withdrew from my friends and my family and I began to live in a smaller and smaller world.

I resigned myself to the idea that that’s just the way it was, the disease would take its course, and I would just have to ride it out – there was nothing that I could do about it. In the midst of all this, I registered for The Landmark Forum and Landmark’s subsequent courses. Out of my participation, my life, my attitude, and my perspective have dramatically altered. I saw that I had a say about who I was going to be and how I was going to relate to the circumstances in my life.

I’m currently running my own business. I am a trained seminar leader and lead Landmark seminars programs here in South Africa. I have recently applied to be trained to be a Landmark Forum Leader. I now participate with the people in my life I had written off; I acknowledge my friends and family for how much they mean to me. Perhaps best of all, I have been recently declared to be the healthiest I have ever been in my life. Thank you Landmark Education for giving me my family back and most importantly, giving me back my life.
