The Landmark Forum
Joe McVeigh

Last July (2003), I attended the Landmark Forum in Dublin. This was a seminar/retreat with a difference. In a word it is about “transformation.” We were urged to think of the possibilities for the future rather than living in the past or, as they say, “living in our stories.” The Landmark Forum is [offered by Landmark Education], a world-wide enterprise…. The emphasis is on integrity in relationships and in all aspects of life.  Landmark provides people with the tools for living life in a full and productive way. There have been amazing results.

The Landmark Forum confronts us with the truth about ourselves  --  that we are wonderful, extraordinary human beings with immense possibilities and that we have freedom to choose.

It teaches us not to see ourselves as so self-important and it helps us to deal with the baggage and conditioning from the past. It shows us how to cope with the difficulties and obstacles that are part of life.

It was probably the toughest three days of my life but is was worth it for what I discovered about myself, about the art of living fully and creatively --  about the possibilities for the future which are mine to create now. Instead of living in the past, I am already creating the future. What a discovery at this stage in my life when I thought I knew it all!

I would recommend you find out about Landmark. There are introductions all the time in many centres throughout the country. For more information phone 020-7969-2020.
