Landmark Education is a for-profit company 100% owned by approximately 450 employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and similar international plans. The organization's executive team reports to a Board of Directors that is elected annually by the ESOP. All executives are paid in the 25-50 percentile of the compensation range for executives in companies of comparable size. 

In 2008, Landmark Education’s revenues were approximately $89 million. Landmark’s four primary expense areas are real estate, travel, telecommunications, and personnel. Since Landmark Education was formed in 1991, no dividends have been paid to its stock holders. In those years where the company generated surpluses, the surpluses were invested into making Landmark Educations programs, initiatives, and services more widely available, including providing scholarships for the Landmark Forum to all police, firefighters, and clergy in most countries around the world.
